I honestly don't care about how you think about me. But I am seriously seeing someone YOUNGER... REAL YOUNG....DAMN YOUNG. Yeah! He is my boyfriend Reonaldmond. What he do? Well, he works as a Kayak Guide and also a Sales Representative for outdoor activities equipment. We have been seeing each other for almost 2 years. He has been very understanding, loving and caring. He is financially independent and most of all he loves Jesus like I do. I don't know how you might think about me but I think I have to start admitting the fact that he has already became part of my life. He remembers my birthday and always surprises me on my birthday. My first birthday gift from him was a HUGE life-size Bear. Then followed by the 2nd year, he bought me a gold necklace with a Crucifix and this year, he got me a G-SHOCK solar tough and surprised me by bringing me to Singapore OCBC to apply for a joint account putting in S$1000 for us. I know his heart. Whenever I am sick, he bought me exactly what I feels like eating. I don't have to try very hard to impress him and just be myself. I honestly love him very much and he is very important to me as well. I decided to take this BOLD step to announce to the world, YES, I am dating a younger guy- A 10 years younger guy. :)

My Dear friends,

I have been very sick lately. Been having a very bad lung infection before Christmas last year and lately it had developed into Bronchitis asthmatic cough. I am on asthmatic medication Salbultamol which is making my hands very shaky and heart beats pretty fast lately. I had lost about 4kg over a period of 3 months. I couldn't paint and been trying very hard to struggle it through. Am still on medication and hopefully i will be fully recovered after this Chinese New Year. It hasn't been easy for me as my passion is still drawing. Miss my friends on Instagram..miss all my followers as well. I hope that I will be ok soon and be back on Track again. :)

He started off with a very humble beginning. From a dairy product salesman to a property tycoon, with almost 5 decades of entrepreneurship, it weren't easy at all. I met Tan Sri Tan Lai Kim 2 days ago. He was a very warm, friendly and humble man. Even though he rejected our designs, we had a short tea session and exchange our views. He told us that he loves horses and so I decided to draw him a Horse painting. He specifically requested to draw a horse couple. And I did. Both our meeting with him were filled with laughter and he gave us durians which he planted them personally. I am happy that I presented him the painting. It is also to reinforce our relationship with this client who has been with us for the last 3 years.

It was a difficult piece to do but I managed to pull it through. Quite hard to master the skill of drawing muscles especially on animal. But its a nice process. This piece will be sold to a family friend. I hope that she will like it :)

Ready For Sale...

My drawings will be parting with me next weekend... :( sad. I will have to get used to this feeling. An artist once told me, we must learn to be DETACHED. Drawing or any artistic act requires focus and concentration. Its a personal moment as every stroke, colour and even finishing will trigger the emotions. It is very hard to explain that feeling. It does has a therapeutic effect from our daily stressful life. I enjoyed this feeling. And my painting is the only witness and evidence through this experience. Its personal and so my only wish is that the people who bought my work will be able to cherish it like a legacy.

I was born in the 70s. An era of retro stuff, The Beatles and all the happy shiny people. Its in me. I just love these vintage stuff. Been always wanted a Vespa. I am always jealous with my 70 years old neighbour who ride around my house area with it. Even though his vespa looks really bad, still i am not very happy the fact that the old man was riding it and not me. hahahah! Here are a series of drawings i have done lately, celebrating the great design of the 70s. Enjoy. :)

The Chinese believes that when a daughter is married off, its best to have a sewing machine to accompany her marriage. This symbolised that she is capable and skilled... And that was a belief that was carried for generations. I drew this sewing machine last night. When i was married about 7 years back, my mom gave me a sewing machine. I didn't know how to sew then but it was a gesture of love from her to me. Today, this piece of work is drawn. Supposedly to be given to a gallery to sell in Singapore, I changed my mind and decided that it should be given to my mom. The entire drawing process was a tough attempt and it was very difficult to achieve this drawing effect. And so it should be given her...

Pepper, My Love...

She was one of those girls in school that would make all the boys gone crazy and head over hill for. Yeah, thats Pepper. 16 years of friendship and we are still crazy and laughing at some unspoken jokes. There were so much fun and happiness when we are together. We carried each other through our ups and downs. She may appear to be a little snobbish or proud but her soul is so kind and beautiful. Love her so much. I am blessed to have her as my BFF in my life. :)

I am very sleepy yet I am still wide awake. Thanks to the 6 cups of Earl Grey I drank today. It was a crazy Monday and I was traveling around NON-STOP...From Bank to Post Office to Bank again then to a 4pm Meeting and back to Office and then another 7pm meeting till 12am. Total Madness. I wasn't prepared for a Long Monday. So I was really upset and moody. However, I must say that our meetings were all very constructive and it has been a very productive day. I should be happy. Now that I am wide awake, I couldn't stop thinking about things especially my personal safety. I was worried of mid-night Burglary. Burglars that climbed over roof top to enter a house to commit crimes etc. I am seriously scared. I have my teddy bear with me..a metal tripod next to me and a bible next to me. A quick prayer of Safety and thats it. I honestly can't think anymore and decided to leave everything to God's hands. I didn't draw at all tonight... and I feel so shitty. "Please, Lord...don't make tomorrow like today. I need to take a break before my long day on Wednesday. Amen!"

Lately I am totally crazy about the feel of Pastel...I can draw with it almost every night. I realized that i love the texture of it and also the finishing. But to be honest, there aren't many who will appreciate my finishing. So I have to keep practicing with it till I am confident and also skilled enough to come out with a series. :) Here's a glimpse of the making :)

Lately I was being approached by someone to draw some paintings for a Boutique Hotel. And they wanted me to explore Black And White using Charcoal. I have never use Charcoal to draw before but I was willing to take up the challenge by exploring into it. So I went to Art Friends to get some art material to work on the request. I got in Charcoal, Pastel and also some light weight papers. For 2 nights, I was exploring this new medium and to my surprise the effect turned out to be pretty cool and I love it. I realized that in life, we have to learn to take up challenges and not be afraid if all fails. After all, its the experience and process that we were after and they will shape us to a better person. So these were the experimental process. Enjoy...

About few weeks ago, someone from my FB asked me to draw her an owl to tattoo. SO I took it up and did some research on it. She wanted a combination of Tawny Owl (face) with Chaco Owl feathers...so it was rather challenging for me. But I still did it :)

Here's a little sharing of how I usually paint my drawings...

First, I will start of with a very detailed pencil sketch

I will use pencil to indicate the light and dark

Then I will continue by inking my drawing

Once its done, I will use watercolor to color it...

I called my 'mama' in Australia today. I miss her laughter and her voice. Been almost a year I haven't seen her. I called her to ask about some planting tips. Knowing that she loves plants and now with my ever growing Sabah Snake Grass, I decided to call her to get some advice how to get them multiplied. Not very often I am exposed to planting or gardening, the last time I had a touch of it was during my primary school days. Basically just growing bean sprouts. Hahahah! But this Sabah Snake Grass has gotten me quite serious. With both hands having a touch of planting and gardening. I love it. I enjoy watching the plants grow and reaching out to the sun every morning.

Mama told me that she going to stay longer in Australia till Elyna turns 2. I wish mama is here and I could bring her over to my place to show her the plant that she once helped me to grow while they were still babies. :) Now they have turned so adult that I have to cut them and make more new plants. Baby plant has grown to become parents today. Am so happy :)

An article published. Written by a NON-APPLE user. Yeah, Steve Jobs is not great but what does the author knows? Has he experienced the first computer with colored screen and different fonts? Has he felt the first time owning a phone with all happening applications? I don't think so and he has the guts to write all that and claiming that he is a Non-Apple user?? I don't buy what he said. And surprisingly, there were people said it was GOOD. Obviously, they too are Non-Apple users. Well, if you are an Apple user and you write this article then maybe I would look at what and why the person has written such article. So honestly, I couldn't bothered to read or care what the person wrote and I won't take back what I have written about Steve Jobs. To me, its still a great LOST! Because since 12 years old, Apple has been a great impact in my childhood. Whatever Steve Jobs has done, did make a big difference in the industry and our lives.

Yesterday, I went to Ikea. For the longest time, I wanted a new couch. The old one was breaking apart due to the expansion of our asses. hahahha. So I went and shopped for a new 3 seaters. Moved a little here and there and Voila~! a new space was created. Now I can sleep flat in front of my TV and enjoy this new experience of cosiness. Happy...(Chicken Dancing all the way) :)

Days when you get sick...

Call me a health freak or whatever...but I am one person who cares a lot about my health. Even though it is not necessary to do a body check up yearly for my age, I have been taking blood test every year without fail since age 26. On a regular basis, I will take a glass of freshly blend fruit juice with Sabah Snake Grass. I will drink it with my empty stomach before going to work every morning. I believe in natural remedy however when it gets too serious I will visit the nearby clinic - Dr. Ravi. I like this doctor as he seldom prescribe me with Antibiotic if there is nothing too serious.

Today, I am kinda sick. There is only a few things that will trigger it all- a) lack of sleep b) too tired c) Going to Pub, smokey area or drinking cold water. And now it is just a bit of running nose. I believe it could due to the long hours drive on the road and the ridiculous weather changed lately. Took some antihistamines and slept early the night before. I felt better today but I will do the same again tonight. But honestly, I HATE RUNNING NOSE. hahahah. All that sneezing and watery eyes are making me really annoying! So pray for me. :)

It wasn't Father's Day...but perhaps a dad's birthday. Amazed by the love of his daughter. I decided to help to draw a portrait of him. Through the drawing, I learnt more about him. I learnt in a physical form- length of nose, width of mouth etc. But it was through the gesture of his daughter. The words being described about him. A simple man but a strong principle and belief. And so I drew this portrait with admiration. :)

Steve Jobs- The Genius of this Decade

It saddened me deeply when I opened up my Mac and this was what I could see...

Steve Jobs, without him, there won't be a vibrant digital design industry today. Today, the impact of his invention is not just for the design industry but also part of everyone's life. And even my 1 year plus niece is Ipad-ing everyday. He literally introduced COLOURS to our lives. I remembered that having a computer with various choices of fonts created so much excitement during the 80s. Back in those days, my dad was a great supporter of Mac. Our first computer at home was a Mac and till today, my dad is still using Mac and always a gadget frontier especially to all those Mac products. Be it Iphone, Ipad, Ipod or I-Whatever...you name it he has them all.

It was such a great lost to our industry that Steve Jobs is no longer with us. I felt as if my MacBook Pro has lost its Father. So sad.

I would like to end my entry today by having a few of my Favourite Steve Jobs' quotes...

Last weekend I went back to Singapore to visit my mom. I decided to also buy my family and relatives a good dinner to celebrate the launch of the book which I have illustrated for. We decided to have the japanese buffet at the restaurant in Heeren.

So I took an MRT from Harbour Front to Dhoby Ghaut MRT then changed to Sumerset as I needed to get to Heeren. During my ride, I don't know what happened to me but I was like Mother Teresa on the train. Hahahaha! I moved my seat so that to let a Chinese couple to be able to sit together. Then I gave up my seat to an Indian pregnant woman. And I stood there hearing an old man talking to a young NS guy who was listening to his ipod.

I was thinking to myself why would the old man kept talking when the young man was listening to his ipod and totally ignored him. Then the old man lifted up his head and asked me where he was. He needed to go to Pasir Ris. I looked at him and asked him was he alone. He couldn't hear me very well and I needed to shout at him. I told him he was in the wrong train. He should have gotten off at Outram Park and transfer to a different route. So I hold that old man's hand and got him out of the train in Dhoby Ghaut told him how to go to Pasir Ris and handed him over to another stranger to take him to Outram Park.

It saddened me that our society today is filled with people who just lived in their own world. Why can't they take a minute to look around? Do charity, help others or even just use recycle bag.

I am not saying that I have done all that but at least I carry a recycle bag around and try not to use Plastic Bag. Do you carry a recycle bag? I am just surprised that not many Singaporean are doing that. Why should it be just Ikea? Or NTUC? Why not everywhere? In Malaysia especially in Selangor, we practise that every weekend. Be it in Curve or One Utama, people here use recycle bag. No recycle bag on weekend is gonna be a hell of trouble for you. I hope this entry enlightened you in one way or another. Be gracious. Practice inner peace in you. Open you mind to see a wider spectrum and not just restrict to inner-self.

Book is finally Launched...

It was a very moving event. When I first saw how they used my drawings to animate for the opening sequence during the book launch, I almost cried with tears of joy. I was so happy. It was a rare opportunity that my paintings is being exposed to the public. Everyone in this event was of Very Important Person (VIP) status. They belonged to either a CEO or Managing Director of those big corporations in Malaysia. And I heard that the Prime Minister has a copy too. The joy and honour which I experienced last night were truly unexplainable. It was beyond words to describe. I wish I could just HOLD ON to that very moment and I have never imagine that my work can inspire so many. :)

Today I am being invited to an important event that is the launch of a book that has used my illustration as cover and also part of its design. I am so happy and honored to be part of this project. Its a formal event and so I am all dressed up in Malaysian Traditional wear. My heart is pounding really fast and I hope to receive positive feedback. This book has marked a significance in my life. It has helped me to find back my long lost gift in me- Painting...I will cherish this moment and continue to draw to be inspired. And most importantly, I thank my sister, Diane who believe in me and got me to draw for this book. I would like to also thank Jesus for the wonderful gift that He has granted me and I will continue to do task that will glorify His name. Amen...

Sabah Snake Grass 优遁草

About half a year ago, an ex-poly mate of mine wrote to me on FB looking for this type of grass in Malaysia. I had never heard of it and so I went online to look for information about this type of grass. Apparently, there were many testimonies written online about how this type of grass has cured many. I was very excited and went around looking for it. I finally found them in Seremban in Jelebu a place called '草药园’ (HP: +60196609502-Mr. Tiang) which is about 2 hours drive from KL. I brought them to my friend whose mom was in her 3rd stage of colon cancer. And so going to Seremban is like a very now and then task if anyone needs the plant urgently.

2 weeks ago, a client of mine told me that her breast cancer is not looking good. Without any hesitation, I told her that I will go Seremban for her. And the next day, I plucked out 60 leaves from my own Sabah Snake Grass for her. My trip to Seremban yesterday, I managed to bring home 11 baby plants and 3 big tubs of 300 leaves in each back. I want to bless many with these leaves. I strongly believe that it can cure and bring hopes to many who is currently suffering from cancer. For those who would like to know more about the leaves..

On a regular basis, I also pluck 10 leaves per day and blend with fruit juice to drink...(eg. Green Apple or Kiwi) I must take good care of my body so that I can live long enough to fulfill my dream of opening a backpacker lodge in Sabah or even a place for cancer patient to have a retreat.

My baby plant who just got migrated from Seremban...They shall bloomed to the maximum and blessed many with good health.

My lunch today is just a sweet corn and edamame...I am eating plain because I am donating my blood today at 3pm. I will try to donate my blood every 3months once. My way to contribute back to the society. Honestly, there are not many who can give blood. You must have the courage and also be physically fit otherwise even if you have the courage but your blood is not suitable they won't even pull a single drop of blood out of you. Today, I will be going alone. Whatever it is, my intention is to bless other just like the way I blessed those cancer patients with my Sabah Snake Grass...

Grandma...

Grandma made the best soup, fried the best vegetable and cooked the best teochew style porridge. She smoke and gamble but she is always soft spoken and loving. I remember I used to listen to the Radiofusion and help her to write down all the winning number for her Toto bets. She is a nice lady and very often have compassion for others. I miss her very much. :( its been 5 years since she left us but memories of her are still vivid on my mind...

AUNTY HUI MEOW....

I lost my aunt on the 14th September this year. She is my mom's only sister. Even though at age 79, she was still physically strong and was able to travel to many places with my mom. It was only early this year in March, they both went to China and today, part of me still couldn't accept the fact that she is gone forever.

I only have 1 aunt. And while my sister and I were away in Malaysia, she was one of the few who kept my mom company and very often traveled to China and many places with her. Very often when I called my mom, she was always next to her at Hougang Mall having lunch or coffee. Even though my mom and her were 11 years age gap apart, they were almost as close as twins sister. They both shared the same sense of humour and my mom looked upon her very much.

During their younger days, my aunt had to work in order to support the family. She and my grandmother provided daily meals for the family while my mom and uncle were still studying. Thus, till this day, my mom felt that she has owed her sister a lot and the kindness could never be repaid. I remember aunt as someone very soft spoken, never heard her talking bad about others and very often smiled and happy to see me when I am back in Singapore.

About 3 months ago, she had a very bad stomach and was having several diarrhea. She went to seek for a doctor and doctor sent her to a specialist and was diagnosed as 4th stage liver cancer. The cancer cells not only attacked her liver, it also attacked her colon, cervical and breasts. It was all over her body and they couldn't operate or perform chemotherapy for her due to her old age and in her advance stage of cancer. So it was sort of "Let it be" and "Let her die" situation.

It was very devastating for the family especially my mom. Seeing her lost weight overnight and becoming frail daily, was a very painful sight for us. I tried every way to make her feel better. I traveled 120km from KL to Seremban to get her a few pack of Sabah Snake Grass leaves and also tea bags for her. I also seek help from friends who has remedy to cure cancer. It was a non-stop traveling around and visiting her every time I went back to Singapore. Nothing helps. I tried to spread her gospel during the last 2nd time I visited her. She didn't accept. And I lost her completely on the 14th...It was painful for me, my mom and everyone in the family. She was very dear to us. I wasn't blessed with many aunts like some of my friends. I only have 1 and so when we lost her, life will be very different. I would need to spend more time with my mom. We (my Sister and I) would need to go back more often. Our mother's sister and also her best friend is gone. There will be a portion of our time be allocated just for my mom from now on...

I must thank God for making yesterday a happy day for Diane. Without God's blessing, it won't be a full success to make a lady with a sick kid and suffered from sleepless nights, a happy one yesterday. I decided to draw a portrait for Diane. It was a piece of work that was full of love. I love my sister very much. Even though it was quite a rush work, I am pretty pleased with the end result. Last Saturday was my first day teaching in a Children Art School. My class started from 9am till 1pm. It was actually 2 classes which consist of 6-7 students in one class. And their age ranged from 3 to 12 years old.

So during my 2nd class, I was warned by the teachers that it was going to be very challenging as the kids in that class were harder to control. True enough, they were walking around and chatting away. So this little boy whose age around 5 were looking at another girl who was around 4 yrs old drawing. Being 4, she couldn't colour very well as she was still young. And he passed a remark which totally shocked me.

"Teacher Dora, look at her. She totally put Crayon to Shame. She is not doing it right. This is called Crayon Shame!"

I didn't know how to react when I heard that. Don't know whether to laugh or what. But looking at them acting like little adults, I just nodded and smile. Kids these days are simply amazing. I am learning everyday to be patience with people around and it will be a great test to handle difficult kids. I just pray for a patience heart and be gracious to them.

Am looking forward to my next class with them. :)

Last night at Cell Group, our cell leader asked us to share a significant thing or memorable event that our mom had done for us. For a moment, I couldn't think of anything as everything was significant and memorable for me. My mom has been a remarkable and sacrificial person who is forever generous to others and loving to all of us.

But there was something which I would like to share and credit to her. For the longest time, my house in KL has been in a mess. And if discovery channel would wanna cover a topic of Hoarder, I can be qualified as one. Hahahaha. I am a person who like to keep stuff and store everything including wrappers from Christmas after Christmas. Everything seems to have a sentimental value for me.

So about a few months ago, my mom came to visit me. She decided to stay a bit longer about a week and at first she wanted to find a bigger house for me but later she decided to do a "SLIGHT" transformation to my place. So she so called "IMPRISONMENT" herself in my house for almost 4 days. And she also bought some furnitures and racks for my room. TO MY SURPRISE, she transformed my place into a beautiful, well organised and comfortable sanctuary. Furthermore, she also found a part-time cleaner for me to engage to clean my place once a week. Even though there are many stuff that I still couldn't find them today, I am very grateful to my mom. She is truly a SUPERMOM and gifted interior designer. Her act of service truly touched my heart and till today I couldn't thank her enough.

I don't often paint but this July I am gonna surprise her with a nice huge painting. And theme shall be "HER FAVOURITE PERSON" heheheh. ;)

2002 was the year that we met. He was the first guy that taught me about music, football and punk culture.

We met at a TV shoot for the Kancil Award intro Video. The first time we met, we had some kind of connection simply because he grew up in Singapore. We chat and chat and chat from 6am till the next morning 4am…

It was all mutual and we like each other. The very next day, he left and flew to Shanghai.

And then he came back to Singapore about a week or 2 later and I decided to drive over to meet him there. It was then we realized that we actually like each other very much. And couldn’t stop talking and sharing our thoughts. After that encounter, there was just a series of endless phone calls and email. He was very lonely in Shanghai and was in total culture shock. He couldn’t speak mandarin very well either. I decided to pay him a visit. In fact, I was one of the few that first to visit him there. I made him a home to stay and even cooked his meal. Bought a couple of stuff in order to make it more like a home for him. I even thought of staying there for good. But he realized that he didn’t want to take our friendship to the next level and so I left Shanghai with a broken heart.

For years, this friend has influenced me so much. From Music choice to football team to even the food that I am eating today, everything was under the good influence of him. I must acknowledge that every shit he recommended was really good stuff and I still love them today. From U2, Blur, Radiohead …you name it, I love them all.

We were still in touch even after I got married. Our friendship was purely platonic. He will make a point to meet me every trip back to KL and get me all the good stuff from Shanghai simply because he was grateful that I had helped him along the way with all the advices. He had relationship after another relationship but he still kept our friendship. When I got divorce, he was also there to give me the support. When I was down, he was one of those few that I feel like calling to make myself feel better. I do love him dearly but not in the lustful way. He was and still is my best friend.

Today is his birthday. We don’t talk anymore simply because I couldn’t leave myself at where I am to join him in Shanghai. He was very disappointed. The last message he wrote to me on MSN was an angry one. He said I should have the guts to tell him that I couldn’t make it.

I text him today…I just wished him. For a minute, I was so hungry for the U2’s Achtung Baby Album. I dug out my box of memories and found something that he did for me when we first met. It was where we first got our friendship started.

Here’s my message to him:

“Ooi! (That’s what he usually like to call me), Happy birthday again! I am sorry and I miss you very much, my friend. It hurt me so much that till today when I think about the fact that now you are ignoring me totally. I found this DVD cover that you drew for me. Not the best art piece but definitely the only few that is drawn specially for me from a guy. Truly I must say, when I read that you said I was your best friend, I feel like packing everything and be there for you now at this very moment. But I am so sorry, I can’t. I hope that you can understand and forgive me. It’s your birthday and I wish you happy always. Cheers to our 10 years of friendship and I have never love you any less”

So there is nothing to be afraid of. Your only fear should be GOD. Be God fearing. Do as per what He has said to you. I am seeking for a person like that in life. I want a courageous man but God fearing. :) Where to find him?

Money Vs God

Chinese New Year is a time when family comes together and celebrate a new beginning of the year. Its a reunion. For some, Chinese New Year is a time of spending and also paying all the old debts. Money Money Money as usual.

I had some struggle at work. Client has delayed our payment and so I had to delay payment to suppliers. I can't even pay myself. It was very challenging and the whole time, I am just thinking how to settle this and that.

I couldn't take it one day and was feeling super depressed the whole morning. After a whole day of facing suppliers and answerable to their payment, I came home all down and broken. I cried. Cried and cried. And I couldn't stop. I kept asking God why did He allow all that to happen to me? Why? Why?...The crying couldn't stop and I decided to talk to someone but I don't know who. So I randomly called someone who answered his call unexpectedly.

It truly worked for a while as I was distracted by the conversation and ended the conversation having the both of us laughing. I ended the call with soothing heart and I prayed that night. I told God that I am not gonna think about it anymore and just for Him to take care of the situation for me.

The next morning, I went to work as usual. But I did everything constructively. And managed to work on these bad debts that others are owing. Even though I know they couldn't pay me immediately, I was hopeful. I prayed. True enough pay came in slowly...not a lot but good enough. I just praise Lord for providing without asking. I praise Lord for giving when is needed. He is amazing. AMEN!

It was a normal Tuesday morning and Eng Soon insisted that I have to see Dr. Tassim. My leg been swelling since my trip back to Singapore and seems like more painful than before. Dr. Tassim had asked me to have an early breakfast as I might need to go for surgery immediately that very afternoon. I came unprepared. And next minute before I could say anything I was in the operating theatre. Well, according to Dr. Tassim, my previous doctor didn't fix my dislocated ligament and so it causes swelling and even widening of my crack gap. It was a terrible experience. I was half sedated and I could heard the equipment running in the theatre. Eng Soon left shortly after my operation. He gave me a feeling that he shouldn't be there. Perhaps he is no longer responsible for me. But it was ok, I believe there is no such thing as friends after a divorce. Life goes on. Many came and visit me. And of course, I have my loved ones who doesn't need to place any responsible for them and they are always here for me through rain or shine. :-) i am blessed. Very very blessed. And thank God for being there for me. Today is my 4th day of stay and my support bandage has taken out and i can start walking again. I would still like to take this opportunity to thank Eng Soon for his half care attitude and persistence of getting me here...hahaha, Tats for daily delivery of soup and sleeping over to make sure everything is ok (you are such an angel, Onolbaby), Auntie Nelly for cooking the lovely soup everyday, my sister Diane for helping me out financially and taking over my work load in the office. Jia Pey for visiting me and calling me everyday to make sure I am ok. My supportive cell group for visiting and non stop sms. My colleagues, Janice, Joshua and all for their love and care. My lovely ex-sister and brother in law, lynn and rene for visiting and kind arrangement with Dr. Tassim. Thank you all so much. I love u all. And my parents. And most importantly, Jesus! for speedy healing! You are an amazing Father! and I love you!! Amen!

Listening in different language

I attended Bahasa Service today. Tats was the drummer. Amazing service. The group was small maybe around 20pax but Holy Spirit just filled in that room that moved my heart. A few times during praise and worship, I could feel that my heart was pumping.

I had a hard time understand what Pastor Yayah was sharing. I guess I was totally "lost in translation" situation. Thank God, my Nokia has a Indonesian to English dictionary and look up the key words. It was a very basic massage about God's love and how as a Christian we should carry our attitude toward our lives. AMAZING.

You know the amazing part about attending a "Foreign" language was that we just concentrate on the body language and the key words. Like a Puzzle, we are just putting everything together. And at the end of the day, I asked Tats was it what all the sermon about? And he said YES. God just want me to pay attention and listen what He want me to understand. I am BLESSED.

And through this experience, I realised that perhaps God is equipping me for Mission work this year. I need to get used to foreign language such as Indonesian. So that I am able to widen my horizon. 2011 will be a meaningful year for me. I have decided to do more mission work and charity to give Glory to our Lord.

God is wonderful and definitely has a bigger plan for me. AMEN!

RE: LIFE

This morning I woke up at 6am to church. It was a 2 hours service. Honestly I was very sleepy but there was an interesting word of wisdom from Pastor today:

"Life is not about you surviving through a storm but its about you dancing in the rain...." WOW~! Yeah! Its true. We always talked about how bad life is and how we struggled through the difficulties but it wasn't about all that? It was truly about how u can enjoyed yourself even there were difficulties in life. AMAZING.

Even though it was tiring but a new year to start with such great beginning, I AM VERY BLESSED.

Pastor also encouraged us to list the blessings that we got in 2010 to conclude the year. And to do things that PLEASE our Lord this 2011. I am inspired.

So here were my blessing 2010:

1) I managed to win an account which was competing with a 4As agency

2) I managed to learn to handle a Difficult client that has made me cry almost every other day

3) I made some new friends- Pauline, Jia Pey, Fiona and Jane

4) I have found myself a HOME CHURCH

5) I am blessed to have Tats here in KL with me

6) I managed to get my relationship issue all sorted out and finalizing all the status

7) I am blessed with a BANGKOK trip and followed by a SHANGHAI trip

8) I gotten about 4 people to go back to church

9) I have completed my Evangelizing course in church

10) I have broken my ankle bone and was on cast for 6 weeks and gotten a taste of being disabled

11) I went to a happening concert sponsored by Celcom (AMITE- AH MEI)

12) I gotten to experience a staff leaving our company after all these years of comfort having him all these years around me.

13) I went to SABAH and experience a true local celebration of New year beginning of 2010

14) I had gotten myself a regular helper at home to clean my house

15) I had a group of happening colleague that cleared my Hoarder Like house into a nice living space

16) I finally gotten some truth and learnt to embrace it whether I like it or not (Family matters)

17) I have survived without the use of credit card during shopping

18) Managed to chase a bad debt of 1 year from a regular client

19) I am blessed with a NEW macbook pro and a NEW Ipod Touch

20) I got myself involved selling layer cakes with success and repeated order

I AM BLESSED TRULY BLESSED~

New Hope and Wishes for 2011

Time really flies. With just a blink, 2011 is here.

Well, what is my resolution? what is my wishes? hope...etc.

Resolutions:

1) Stop Biting my nails or Skins...

2) Keep my Table tidy

3) Stop Changing mind or plan and stick to what I want or need

4) No more addiction of FB and Ipod

5) SLEEP EARLY

6) Take care of my weight and have a healthy DIET

7) Keep a LESS MEAT and MORE VEGGIE Diet 50% Vegetarian :)

8) Have a better financial control and plan in 2011.

CAST AWAY

This photo looks very Japanese. Its very 70s...and its in very high contrast. I love it.

Well...after 5 weeks...and spent almost RM2300...I finally got my leg back in good shape. My cast was taken out and i feel like a 1 year old learning how to walk. My leg is weak and i feel like a spaceman walking in outer space. Its a weird and painful experience but I had learnt so much these few weeks in cast.

My leg is free to be showered with the other leg. Hahaha. But its funny that i secretly wish that the cast wasn't taken away. I will miss the warm protection and having a good reason to swing my crutches around.

But nothing beats the freedom. I am FREE again. Thank, God. And I will be very careful with the way I walk from now on....

I am super emo today. Yes. Joshua left.

4 years, we have shared so much together. A guy who knows exactly what I like...not at work but leisure stuff.

Every year, I will look forward to his christmas present. I love all the earrings he got for me. I might sound a little admiration but yeah...he just got the taste like mine.

He decided to pursue a better opportunity in life and leave us for good. Its sad yet I am also very happy for him...

i am gonna miss him...

I remember I used to write a lot of happy stuff on my blog. It used to be known as a space that has a lot of stupid incidents to be read. Hahaha...I like that part of me.

And one day out of the blue, I deleted everything away. I regretted. Those were really good stuff that marked all the funny incidents especially those robbery jokes that I shared even till today. I can't find them back anymore. But its ok.

Life is like a haircut. You might cut away your hair but they will grow back again. So my life journey doesn't stop just here. All the bad incidents or unhappiness will eventually be a past. I just have to embrace all these experiences, take them as challenges and overcome it with courage. :)

SO i hope this blog is not just about me...but a happier me. A place where I would like to give testimony and share all my humour. I welcome you whether you are friends, enemies, associate, colleagues, ex-colleagues, families or friends, I welcome all of you to read and enter my world. :)
